Yes, they can. Just set your iron to the hottest setting and give it 3 mins preheat. But remember to empty the steam box first. It must be ironed with dry heat.

Dear Kim, thank you for your interest in CSTOWN. Yes, a standard iron can do the application just fine. An iron is good enough for pressing the transfers of small quantities. The temperature to apply a rhinestone transfer should be 350 degrees Fahrenheit. But if you are a business representative who buy rhinestone transfers on a regular basis, I'll suggest that a heat press be necessary. A heat press can be much more time saving and easy handling in a long run. And normally the temperature of a heat press can get higher than an iron, too. What I think is also important is about the time. Different materials should be done for a different length of time. Here is a small tip about the application time: For rhinestone desgins only or combination of glitter and rhinestones, use 350 degrees F for 10-15 seconds. If there is sequins in the design, extend the time to 25-30 seconds at 350 degrees F. See details on page: https://www.cstown.com/how-to-iron-on.html Hope above assists. Have a nice day!
